please DO NOT support this video, women get harassed no matter what they wear! please stop acting like hijab is a magical barrier that saves you from rape, sexual harassment because its not, stop teaching young women to cover themselves in order to “protect” themselves from men, teach your sons not to catcall and be disgusting towards any women, NO MATTER how much she is dressed, it is common decency. This further perpetuates rape culture in our communities, i know sisters who have been sexually harassed in hijab and burka. You are belittle their experiences and trauma! Hijab is between a woman and God and FOR God. Stop teaching young muslim women that this is what hijab is for. Maybe she doesn’t get catcalled in NYC but place her in a Muslim country, men are NO different there! There are videos and experiments that PROVE that this video is bullshit. This mentality and this video only promotes victim blaming and says its the woman’s fault for being raped/sexually harassed.

*Male Muslim Youtubers need to also stop using the Hijab as a tool to garner views to their channel when i’ve seen NONE of them speak out on the oppression and treatment of Muslim women in their communities.

Women in Muslim counties who are FULLY COVERED still get harassed. People need to stop perpetuating the idea that this problem is simply because of the way women dress.
